Hey Crew it is a week away!!! But first is LKA's very own Wakefest 2010 put on by Stultz Clothing Co. and Bay Watersports in Pigeon Cove Sat. the 31st 8am-1pm.
NOTE:*** pre registration is not required*** Immediately after the comp. join us in DC for the Red Bull Nat'l Wake Rail Jam. 3-430pm, autogrpah session, and after party. Stultz Clothing Co. and Bay Watersports will also be participants of this event! Come check out Bay Watersports Mastercraft boats in the Rail Jam area and be ready for the Stultz Clothing tee and sticker toss.

@skyskier at this point the answer that I know of is no. However, it was mentioned on our part to get those guys down there, sooooo we will see. I know Red Bull has been extremely receptive to our comp. on Anna which is great for the future. At last meeting- they are sending a couple of the wings girls and the Red Bull car, also trying to send the International MTX as well. If you guys have not seen this truck google it! This thing transforms into a mobile DJ booth w/ big screens for visuals. Please try to attend the after party at Cadillac Ranch, they have a mechanical bull-ENOUGH SAID!!!!

and why is there no LOCAL sponsorship with this red bull wake thing?

dcsnowwake, I've never seen a Red Bull event have any other sponsors, they did something similar to this event in AZ last year. And Red Bull also sponsors a Wake Lab/Slider Park along with a bunch of riders. Just be happy Red Bull is bringing it here.

I could be wrong here too, but I'd be willing to bet Doug had something to do with this Red Bull event coming here in the first place, so thanks Doug, it's been a long time since the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast has had any kind of event of this magnitude....

When Red Bull puts on events, Red Bull puts on events. Thats how they do it, thats their brand, and I doubt they'll ever do it differently. They're the Rolls Royce of energy drinks!

I am guessing it will be held between the two piers in front of the awakening. That is where the PA speakers are.

Hey Crew, Thanks for the props Doug and I have been working what feels like an additional part time job getting Wakefest 2010 to fruition and helping out Red Bull with this event. We are hoping to bring the most badass day of wake to the Mid-Atlantic area ever! As far as local sponsorship Bay Watersports and Stultz Clothing have been allowed to be part of the Red Bull event as "Local Flavor" as described on Red Bull's Facebook page for the event. This has not been allowed at any Red Bull event, so we are very happy to be a part of this incredible day. The event will be held in the cove portion of Nat'l Harbor right along the seawall, there will be a jib/launch ramp, 48 ft flat bar, and a massive hip. Also, there have been many more people than just Doug and I helping make this happen so I send a huge thanks out to them as well.

DCSW...........As much fun as it would be hangin' on the water with P crew, we are not bringing the boat. By the time we got back to the ramp and dragged the boat back to Anna there would be no time for a Sat evening session. Plus, it sounds like there is a lot happening on shore. Don't want to miss that. We will be at the LKA comp (Misty is competing) in the AM. and heading to DC after Misty picks up her 1st place trophy. Seriously hauling a$$ back to Anna when the thing is done. You should do the same!

RR.........If you are going to be on shore, let's meet up at the Stultz booth. Also, you are welcome to ride with us Sat/Sun. I still kinda suck at cell phone management, so I'll PM Misty's number.
